One year ago

exactly one year ago, I was in wackest and whitest city in vietnam, hoi an. it was the biggest tourist trap i have ever fallen into. i couldnt stand the shopping sprees and how most of the EAPers switched from students to tourists, privileged tourists. all i wanted to do was get back to hanoi or saigon or hue or nha trang. then i was told that my favorite rapper, andre hicks aka MAC DRE was killed. couldnt believe it at first so i checked davey d's website and saw a banner that said "RIP MAC DRE." damn. my heart broke and i cried in an internet cafe a world away. still hurts. then a few hours later we also learned that bush got away with stealin another election. ya damn right i drank that night. and no, im not gonna get drunk or high tonight, im just gonna slap some classic mac dre and move on.
i feel selfish righting this knowing that i have a friend who is going through way more in his life right now. im thinkin of you too amigo. you were with me when dre passed away and im with you now. take care my friend.
